For those of you who were interested in a potential senate inquiry into Deaf and Hearing Impaired’s access to film and television, I had written a brief post about Motion No. 877 Earlier this week I had received an email from Senator John Faulkner (because I live in the area he represents) giving me some information about what happened to Motion No. 877. Motion No. 877 had been withdrawn by Senator Natasha Stott Despoja because of an announcement by Senator Helen Coonan, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts.
