Today was another lazy Sunday arvo and I decided to watch a film Tony had lent me. He told me to watch it coz he likes it and I’ll never forget his words..
“It’s about a deaf hitman, he’s not a victim in this one”
or words to that effect.
So I watched it and…
I was not prepared for what I saw, I expected the film to be one of those usual action film flicks you normally see where the formula is as follows..

It’s that time of the year again.. in November I will be growing a mo to help raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and beyondblue.
The funds will be used to create awareness, fund research and increase support networks for those men who suffer from prostate cancer and male depression.
Last year the initiative had raised over $7.3 million, let’s hope this year we can raise some more.

For those of you who were interested in a potential senate inquiry into Deaf and Hearing Impaired’s access to film and television, I had written a brief post about Motion No. 877
Earlier this week I had received an email from Senator John Faulkner (because I live in the area he represents) giving me some information about what happened to Motion No. 877.
Motion No. 877 had been withdrawn by Senator Natasha Stott Despoja because of an announcement by Senator Helen Coonan, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts.

Speed Dating Experiences
Some of you may be aware that I’ve been going to a few speed dating events, for those of you who ARE not aware.. I’m telling you now!
